Ringette BC is currently seeking candidates to fill the Summer Student positions of
Sport Development Coordinator and Community Sport Outreach Coordinator.

Interviews will take place between April 21st – 24th, 2020

The hiring of these positions is dependent upon funding from the Canada Summer Jobs program and may be adjusted due to recent changes from the federal and provincial health authorities.  This may impact either, or both of these positions.

Sport Development Coordinator

May 11, 2020 to August 28, 2020 (16 weeks)
The Sport Development Coordinator coordinates and participates in grassroots community promotional events, assists in the implementation and coordination of all of the organization’s community outreach programs including but not limited to: Gym Ringette and Come Try Ringette. The Sport Development Coordinator will work with Associations and leagues to prepare and deliver outreach events, and work with the Community Sport Outreach Coordinator to deliver programs and events across the province.

Community Sport Outreach Coordinator

May 19, 2020 to July 10, 2020 (8 weeks)
The Community Sport Outreach Coordinator participates in grassroots community promotional events, all of the organization’s community outreach programs including but not limited to: Gym Ringette and Come Try Ringette. The Community Sport Outreach Coordinator will work with the Sport Development Coordinator to deliver promotional programs in various leagues and associations across the province.
