Meet Megan…

Hello, my name is Megan Parsons and I am the new Community Outreach Coordinator with Ringette BC. I grew up playing ringette with the Port Coquitlam Ridge Meadows and Coquitlam-Moody Ringette Associations. I am currently coaching a U14 team and have been an active official for over four years. As a player I attended the BC Winter Games in Penticton and competed at the Canadian Ringette Championships with Team BC in 2019 and 2020. In addition to playing ringette I am an active Softball player. When I am not on the field or at the field, I enjoy being outdoors as well as camping. Currently, I am completing my second year of university with Douglas College where I am studying Criminology. I am excited to be working in this position and having the opportunity to lead gym ringette sessions and work with local ringette Associations.

This job was made possible through funding from the Canada Summer Jobs program with the Federal Government.
