Ringette BC Welcomes New Technical Director, Rebecca Adams
Ringette BC is very pleased to welcome Rebecca Adams to the Ringette BC Team as the new Technical Director!
Becky comes to Ringette BC as our new Technical Director and started her new position today.
Becky started playing ringette with Surrey White Rock Association in the early 1990s; she currently still plays with the Surrey White Rock’s 18+ Team. Becky, is currently a team member of Ringette BC’s Coach Developers team, as well as, a multisport facilitator with training in the Run, Jump, Throw, and Wheel program. Along with playing Open, Becky is an Assistant Coach with the LMRL U19AA Thunder team.
Becky came to Ringette BC from the City of Surrey, Community Services Division where she was a Volunteer Coordinator. Becky, brings to the Ringette BC team experience in working with volunteers, coach development and coach training. Becky is currently working to complete her Masters of Physical Education and has a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. Becky’s strong academic knowledge of the Long Term Athlete development Model and Canadian Sport for Life programs, as well as, experience working with athletes both in the recreation and high performance pathways will be a great asset to Ringette BC and its Member Associations in growing our sport programs.
Becky, will be the lead contact in the Ringette BC office for items related to Coaching, Officiating, Sport and Athlete Development and Competitions.
